Heather Cook | Sr. Director Creative Sync, Eternal Music
Heather heads up the Sync Advertising Department where she pitches to advertising music supervisors, bids, negotiates and licenses projects and finds and develops talent for the Eternal roster. In addition, she produces custom music tracks for their clients.
She began her career as a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in Boston 20 years ago. Amy Kurland, founder of the Bluebird Cafe, described her vocal chops as “a little Aretha Franklin.”
After finishing her degree in music business at Belmont University, she went on to start and run her own music publishing an artist management company. She later spent 9 successful years at peermusic on the sync ad team where she landed songs in commercials for Target, Apple, Ikea, Payless and many more.
She has served as the administrative director for the Nashville chapter of AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers), alumni president of SOLID (Society of Leaders In Development), and is currently a Recording Academy professional member and mentor.
Currently she is completing her Master’s Degree in Music Business at Berklee College of Music and co-producing and recording music for her artist project, Brewster Bee. Her book Becoming the Bee Charmer, a creative business philosophy, is due for release in 2024.

Kourtney Kirkpatrick | VP of Sync, Concord Publishing
Kourtney heads up the Television and Trailer/Promo divisions at Concord Music Publishing, a global publishing giant. Working to pitch and license the songs of Nashville’s Concord writers including Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Sarah Buxton, she also represents the iconic catalogs of Mark Ronson, Phil Collins, John Fogerty, Cyndi Lauper, Robert Johnson, Rodgers & Hammerstein and more.
In her time at Concord, she and her team have secured a number of notable synchs, recently in shows such as Ted Lasso, Atlanta, Ozark, Hacks, Riverdale, The Blacklist, Bridgerton, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Grey’s Anatomy as well as Trailer/Promo uses across the networks of Apple+, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Amazon, Starz, NBC and more.
Prior to Concord, Kourtney worked in the sync department at Razor & Tie where she also helped sign and develop writer/artists such as synch-giant, Ruelle.
Kourtney got her start in the industry at indie publisher, Big Yellow Dog Music, where she had the opportunity to help start and grow the company’s sync department.
